This is going to be a very short one, but I found a great site. It allows you to type in any name and see how popular it has been over the past 125 years. Sadly (for us) it's based on US names not UK.
What I am prepared to say is that if we have a girl her name is almost obscenely popular in the US right now, and according to a UK site, extremely bloody popular here too.
How terribly common!
Her second name was most popular in the 1970s apparently.
I don't know why I'm being so secretive. I've already told you it's 'Britney-Jade'.
If we have a boy, the first name is very much less popular in the US now that it was 50 years ago, but still a popular choice in the UK and the second name is so rare that it doesn't appear at all with the version of the spelling we'd use and barely with its most obvious variant in the US or UK, but for a list of Scottish names, it's quite popular.
Anyway, all that's just teasing, because we're not going to tell you what the names are until Junior is born. I just enjoyed playing around with the site. Unfortunately it won't take "Billy-*", so I was unable to try out cliched Southern names. Shame. Here it is - enjoy:
