This is slightly out of sequence, but that's my fault for getting so far behind with the blog.
We had our penultimate midwives-led ane-natal class the other day (actually the day before we ended up in hospital). D____ was absent, delivering a baby, so K__ took the class alone.
One of the major topics of the evening was breastfeeding. You may remember that we weren't best impressed with the NCT breastfeeding course,despite generally preferring their classes for the rest of it. Well, K__ was much better. She covered everything from the NCT class in a quarter of the time and better, plus - and this is a major points winner - she wore a pair of giant comedy breasts as she taught.
It may just be the case that because the sessions are quite short, people find it harder to bond, but we're definitely not feeling the love with this group in the way that we are with the NCT class. Still, there was just one more to go.
