If You Can't Run, You Can't Hide

Olivia has discovered the joy of hiding. You might imagine that this leads to hours io fraught parents hunting for missing toddler. Luckily for Mummy and Daddy, Olivia hasn't fully embraced the fundamental principles of hiding, insisting on telling you exactly where she is going to hide before she hides. She points and says 'hiding there' and then goes off to hide. I say 'hide', but this sometimes involves such cunning concealments as standing on a step or in the corner next to the fridge. She also has a tendency to laugh like drain once she is hiding and so even if she hadn't already told you where she was going to hide it wouldn't be too arduous to find her. Also, if you ask her if she is hiding she giggles and says yes and pops her head out and then hides again.

I don't foresee a career in espionage...

  1. Oh, my favorite is when they hide & they're totally visible.

Gage sometimes hides behind our sheer curtains. You can see right through them.

He thinks we can't see him....silly goose.

  2. Gregory knows a joke! He says "knock knock" (I say "who's there?" he says " Boo" (I say ("Boo Who?) and he laughs and makes fake crying noises. Over and over again. He told his favourite joke all day at nursery today! Lucky girls

  3. 3B runs off and when we start looking for him and say, "I wonder where he is..." answers loudly, "I'm right here!"
