I recently went and checked the baby blog of a chap who has left comments on here before. I was saddened to read that there may be problems with his wife's pregnancy. There's no update, so I can only hope things have turned out okay. I also heard from my mother about a couple of my brothers' friends who have discovered they are expecting, only for my brother then to email and say they'd lost it.
It makes you really realise how fragile things can be. We both have our fears, but they're really very abstract. We haven't had anything to worry about really and we should remember how very lucky we have been so far.
