I've mentioned before how I roll over in my sleep and clobber my lovely wife, all without waking up; not a good idea under any circumstances, but certain not advisable when there's a baby in the equation. Last night, she had a terrible night's sleep much of it down to me rolling over and flailing at her with my arms and legs.
Today (bank holiday Monday), we found ourselves in the bed department in Ikea. I know there's a few Americans reading this but I think you have Ikea, yes? The bed will arrive in a couple of days and then I'll undoubtedly take until the weekend to work out how on earth the damn thing is supposed to fit together. This also necessitates moving our old bed into the study. Goodbye computer room! It does mean that we can dress the room like a bedroom and this will be important when we come to sell the flat which we have to do because we're going to need a downstairs where we can store a pram and stuff...
This is the butterfly effect in action, isn't it? One coquettishly raised eyebrow and several stages down the line, look at the trouble it's causing us! The baby's not even close to be born yet...
