I don't know if anyone's actually reading this at all. Certainly no one's posted any comments of late. Perhaps I'm just fucking dull? Anyway, if you are reading this, you may have noticed that I have not been posting on the actual days the titles refer to.
I mentioned to K___ this morning that I wasn't sure if I could find something interesting to write about every day. Things happen every day, but mostly they're not to me, they're to K___; The baby-narcolepsy appears to have got worse. She's got a bit of nausea and doesn't feel like fish at the moment.
I know I don't have to write every day. There's nothing forcing me to do it and no penalties if I don't, but I worry I will forget about it all together if I do that. Hmmm...
Oh, and whilst I'm saying there's nothing to write about, the baby gets her or his fingers and toes this week. I know I can't touch them or anything like that, and I realise, at least on some level, that me cooing a list of body parts every week is not that interesting to most people, but fingers and toes are pretty important things. By next week, maybe the baby will be able to do 'devil horns' with her fingers...

That'd be worth a page of anyone's blog. I would try and play the baby some suitably rocking music by way of inducement to learn such an essential rawkin' gesture - apparently babies often react very well to a bit of rock music, surprising as that may seem - but s/he doesn't have any ears yet... Oh well, that'll be another page too!
See, I'm talking myself back up to speed now. There's always something new and interesting to explore.

Sorry - I realise that it sounds like I was chastising people for not reading, which wasn't the intention at all, and how dare I? That sounded extremely rude! Glad you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteAs for K___'s ills, yes, we're hoping they will go soon. She's certainly tired of it and has remarked that it's not quite the joyous experience she was hoping for so far.
I read every day -- I've even got you on RSS. It's just that I can never remember my stupid Blogger account info, and it takes me like 10 minutes of guessing to succesfully post a comment!! Hope K___ feels better soon!
