Big tears-in-the-eyes, legs crossed, wincing congratulations to the very lovely S___, frequent commenter of this parish, who has finally given birth to her third, giant-sized child on Sunday. She wrote:
"G______ arrived yesterday (Sunday) at 4 a.m - 16 days late, which is exactly the same as his brother and sister!He weighed 9 pounds 8 oz and it is fair to say I was aware of every one of those ounces when he got a bit stuck! Fortunately, all worked out well. He's lovely, he looks just like C____ (first born), with no obvious sign of Down's Syndrome (he was in the high risk category) but I can always get him tested at a later point if anything bothers me."
Yay! 9 and a half pounds though. Ouch..!
Meanwhile, over at ZygoteDaddy's place, nothing much seems to be happening. But then, they've got 16 days to go before they win the coverted 'Most overdue baby' award.
